Just pulled up the story of the OCTOBER 23, 2010 AT-EASE REUNION website in honor of Al Douglass. Al Douglass, my mentor as he led the organization of the Newport Beach Boys Dept.where I received my training as a manager/buyer in 1972. Spent 5 great years with a fantastic crew of energetic college students. Retired from business in 2004 at age 80, home in Sun City, Az but spend the 42nd week of each year at the Welk Resort in Escondido to celebrate with family. Everything from Sept birthdays to pre-Christmas besides golf, theatre and scheduled activities. My dear friend, golf and travel companion since 1993 has spent the past three years in a Phoenix care center because of Parkinson's disease. In June I flew to Hawaii to attend the wedding of my youngest granddaughter on Wailalae Beach with the reception dinner at the Plumeria Beach House at the Kahala Hotel & Resort. I made sure my size 3x "new" grandson had a Reyn Spooner shirt. I appreciate my life and those who helped shape all the good I have shared. www.tbjtonto@aol.com August 17, 2011.
